Sisters & Brothers

During my month-long artist residency at the Ymuno Gallery, Montreal, Quebec, in 2018, I created 15 works on paper in memory of my sister Janet, who died on February 17, 2017. The 15 works represent each of my sisters and brothers, and utilize a Victorian set of hymn board psalm numbers (from zero through nine) to explore my siblings’ singularity and collectivity.
